About
Mu ar Deidhinn

The Inverness Acoustic Music Club website is a not-for-profit unincorporated association dedicated to promoting and celebrating quality traditional, folk, and world music. The club is coordinated by singers Brian Ó hEadhra & Fionnag NicChoinnich and is open to all who appreciate acoustic music.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space where musicians and music lovers can come together to share their passion for acoustic music. We strive to support local talent, while also bringing in guest artists from around the country and the world to perform at our monthly events.

The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at The Wee Bar in Inverness. We are proud to offer a diverse range of musical styles and genres, and our guest artists have included some of the best musicians from Scotland and beyond. We also provide guest spots for local artists who want to share their music with our audience.

We believe that music is for everyone, so we welcome children (over 8 yrs) accompanied by an adult to our events. We are committed to making our club a safe and welcoming space for all, and we ask that everyone who attends our events respects our code of conduct.

There is no membership (currently) for the club and tickets can be purchased as a donation on Eventbrite or on the club night (subject to availability).  We seek to pay our guest artists industry standard fees and therefore suggest £10 donation per ticket with a minimum of £7.50 per person.  This intimate venue only holds thirty people and therefore early booking is advised.

If you would like to play a guest spot or want to enquire about events please email us.

Please note that The Wee Bar is on the first floor above the Prime restaurant and that there is no lift access.  Apologies for any inconvenience.

Please see our Equal Opportunities Policy here.

We are hugely grateful for the support of Creative Scotland National Lottery funding.
