About

The Inverness Acoustic Music Club website was a not-for-profit unincorporated association dedicated to promoting and celebrating quality traditional, folk, and world music. The club was coordinated by singers Brian Ó hEadhra & Fionnag NicChoinnich and was open to all who appreciate acoustic music.
Our mission was to provide a welcoming and inclusive space where musicians and music lovers came together to share their passion for acoustic music. We strived to support local talent, while also bringing in guest artists from around the country and the world to perform at our monthly events.
The club met on the first Wednesday of every month at The Wee Bar in Inverness. We are proud to have offered a diverse range of musical styles and genres, and our guest artists have included some of the best musicians from Scotland and beyond. We also provided guest spots for local artists who wanted to share their music with our audience.
We believe that music is for everyone, so we welcomed children (over 8 yrs) accompanied by an adult to our events. We were committed to making our club a safe and welcoming space for all, and we asked that everyone who attends our events respects our code of conduct.
The Wee Bar venue only holds thirty people and was cosy.
Check out the acts who performed at the club.
We are hugely grateful for the support of Creative Scotland National Lottery funding.
